It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Robert Nelson of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nelson and Evelyn Nelson (Bonham); his wife Judy Nelson (Howard); his siblings, Nadeen Turnblom (Jack) and George Nelson; his brother-in-law Marv Grover; and his sons-in-law, Scott Stiel and Kurt Kuehne.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Nelson (Debbie), Angie Stiel, Jody Kuehne and Jimmy Symons; his sister Mary Anna Grover; his grandchildren, Daniel, Derek, Joshua, Jake, Sarah and Drew (Cherokee); his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Lucca; his former wife Hope Bowling; and his sister-in-law Bunny Nelson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
