It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delbert William Mayes of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, born in Carson City, Michigan, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Ruth (Darby); and his siblings, Harold, Wendell, Lloyd, Hazel, Marie, Jean and Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" Mayes (Causey); his children, Kimberly "Kim" (Jim Summers) of Jennifer, William "Bill" (Wendy Willis) and Scott (Angela Farmer); his grandchildren, Clayton (Elena), Julian (Claire), Maggie (Vini), Finn (Johnny), Nick, Kira, Gryphon, Drakon, Phoenix and Sunora; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Theo. He is also survived by his three sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation.
