He was predeceased by: his parents, James McEwan and Mary Katherine McEwan (Calkins); and his siblings, Jimmy, Margaret "Sis", Gerald "Butch", Kathryn "Kat", Robert and Stanley "Joey".
He is survived by: his children, Gail Bowers (Ed), Jeff McEwan (Missy), Joy Pelto (Edward), Mike McEwan (Trisha) and Timothy McEwan (Samantha); and his siblings, Donald McEwan, Sandy Mayer, Dick McEwan, Beatrice Larson, Merri Kay Earehart and Denise Ward. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
