It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Coan of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, born in York, Maine, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Keene and Marion Keene (Avery); her husband Edwin Coan; her granddaughter Alisa; and her sister Eleanor Keene.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Coan (Debby), Marion Beard (David), Anne Staniak (John), Tom Coan (Edie) and Peter Coan (Tammy); her niece Nancy Thornton; and her nephew Robert Tucker. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
