He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Kemp and Elsie Kemp (Young); his wife Eileen Kemp; and his sister Margie Layzell. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Uithoven (Dale), Dan Kemp (Deanna) and Kathy Kemp; his brother-in-law Mark Carson; his grandchildren, DJ Uithoven (Julie), Michael Uithoven (Agi), Cheryl Paniagua (Rick), Lauren Kemp-Gorey (Mike), Akeia Kemp and Olivia Kemp; and his great grandchildren, Grace and Garrett Uithoven.

In accordance with Bill's wishes, his body has been donated to Michigan State University's medical science program.
