She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Feier and Dora Feier (Johnson); her husband Edward W. Carpenter; her son Leland Carpenter; and her grandson LCpl.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Semen (Rudi) of Lansing and Kevin Carpenter (Cindy) of Columbia, TN; her daughter-in-law Sue Carpenter (Green) of Whitehall; her grandchildren, Shawn Semen, Mark Semen, Katrina Kutzleb (Michael), Jamie King (Tom) and Crissie Carpenter; and her siblings, Arlene Sheldon of Lansing and Wendell Feier of Holt. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
