It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Lee Zenker of Whitehall, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Zenker and Leona Zenker (Bushre); his siblings, Wray (Roberta), Craig and Pauline; his in-law Asa Bays (Florence); and his siblings-in-law, Doris DeVries (Gordon), Larry Bradford and Elmer Bays (Jean).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bays; his children, Rhonda Kelly (Ed), Boyd Zenker (Pam) and Brian Zenker (Laura); his grandchildren, Michael Kelly (Jennifer), David Kelly, Robert Kelly, Brett Zenker (Tingting) and Whitney Zenker (Evan-Fiancé'); his stepgrandson Chad Dekkinga (Desi); his great grandchildren, Sasha Roettgers (Chris), Alexis Kelly, Lincoln and Zoey; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kylon and Braylon; his sister Patricia Bradford; and his brothers-in-law, Merlyn Bays (Millie) and Larry Bays (Jean). He is also survived by nieces, nephews; the Bradford family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (711 E Alice St, Whitehall, MI 49461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (2990 W Woodrow Rd, Shelby, MI 49455).
