He is survived by: his wife Lois Jaekel; his children, Brian Jaekel (Kara), Linda Decker (Lance) and Brenda Bean (Dave); his grandchildren, Brandon Bean, Austin Decker, Dennis Roesler (Jodie), Drew Roesler (Kara), Jason Jaekel (Misty), Jessica Jaekel and Judi Jaekel; and his brother-in-law Gordon Hinze (Linda). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters.
