He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Farmer (Conrad) and George Earnest Farmer; his brothers, Jimmy and Wayne; and also, Tammy and Michelle.

He is survived by: his wife Robin L. Austin; his children, Dennis Farmer (Chris) of Metamora, MI, Paulette Vrable (Dean) of Papillion, NE, Lacressa Farmer of Whitehall, MI, Melissa Farmer of King, NC and Alicia Farmer of Madison, WI; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Michael, Alyssa, Jesse, Jenna, Rachel, Mikayla, Clifford, Kia, Titiana, Daniella, Dillon, Brooklynn and Kali. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
