We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024, at the age of 70, John Thomas DeBruyn of Whitehall, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold DeBruyn and Marion DeBruyn (Hertel); his brother Lawrence DeBruyn; and his brother-in-law Daryl Gates. He is survived by: his wife Diane DeBruyn (Arsenault); his children, Andrew DeBruyn (Rebecca) and Kristin Richards (Christopher); his siblings, Lauralee Gates (DeBruyn) and Jim DeBruyn (Judy); and his sister-in-law Margie DeBruyn (Aalbregtse). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
