With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lloyd Vander Maas of Whitehall, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Maas and Dorothy Vander Maas (Boyd). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Vander Maas; his children, Jim Vander Maas (Peg) and Sheila Blair (Chris); his grandchildren, Michael Vander Maas, Alyssa DeMaat (Pete), Haylee Prather (Alex) and Mason Waldron; his great grandchildren, Maya Vander Maas, Maddy Prather and Scarlet Prather; and his sister Linda Deschamp.
