He is survived by: his close friend Lisa (Burel); his children, Chris Cagney (Janelle Smith), Ryan Cagney, Mack Scudder (Jessica) and Katlin Nic (Zachary); his grandchildren, Damian, Danica Thompson, Veronica Cagney, Jude, Beck Scudder and Baby Boy Nic; his siblings, Tom Cagney (Laurie), Martin Cagney (Virginia), Michael Cagney and Ann Hockstra; his mother-in-law Anne Burel; and his close friend Rosco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and lifelong friends.
