He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his sisters, Alice and Marilyn. He is survived by: his parents, Henning Benson and Josephine Benson; his children, Brian Benson (Cheryl) and Barbara Terrien (Andy); his grandchildren, Ben Terrien (Liz) and Julia Terrien (Jesse Skok); his great grandchildren, Adelaide and Sadie; and his brother Alvin Benson (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
