He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin N. Rice and Irma Rice (Grunwell); and his brother Don Rice. He is also survived by niece, nephew, several cousins, and many friends.

In honor of Gary's support of his community, those who wish, may make donations to the Eagles or the White Lake Community Library in his memory.
