She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Whiting and Arlene Whiting (Lundquist); her husband Gary Bowen; her daughter Janet Hill (Binns); her granddaughter Jamie Lauterberg (Hill); her brother Charles Whiting; and her brother-in-law Charles LaFever (Chuck).
She is survived by: her children, Lee Ann Peterson, Thomas Binns and Judith Binns (Dennis Mikkelson); her sisters, Sandra LaFever and Judy Whiting; her nephews, James LaFever (Barb) and Gerald "Nick" LaFever; and her niece Tammy Dahlstrom (Brian). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
