He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Julius and Stella Marion Pohl (Lawrence); his sister Nancy Jo Pohl; and his brother-in-law Neil Haven Schmachtenberger. He is survived by: his siblings, Judith Ann Schmachtenberger, Michael William Pohl and Cathy Ellen Neuman (Gary Alan Ritsema); his daughter Stefany Irene Korstanje (Brandon Michael); his grandchild Xander Michael Lawrence Korstanje; and his close friend Pamela Irene Ericksen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
