He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alburtle Harris and LaVina Eileen Harris (Mays); his wife Sally Bissell; his children, Beth Austin (Chris), Dale Harris (Sharon), Linda Kelly (Joe) and Michael Harris; his grandchildren, Anna Camargo (Tony II), Sara Armstrong (Brandon), Jacob Harris and Jessica Harris; his brothers, Phillip Harris and Eldon Harris (Ruth); and his close friend Barbara Waltrip. He was also cherished by 4 great grandchildren.
