As Russell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Russell. Though Russell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Barger (Sarazin) and James Barger. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Larry Barger (Kathy) of Tonotah, NV, Kathy Hayes (Shawn) of Minnetrista, MN and Mary Jo Maki (Jim) of Eden Prairie, MN. He is also survived by grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jude's Catholic Church (8 Cedar St, White Pine, MI 49971). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Parkinson's & ALS Research Team.
