He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lonchar and Phyllis Lonchar (Finazzo). He is survived by: his sons, John Lonchar III and Tom Lonchar; his grandsons, Justin and Jesse Lonchar; his great grandchild Emily; and his sisters, Linda Albright (Jerry), Debbie Micheletti (Bob), Nancy Hewitt (Russ) and Rose Romes (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be given to the University of Michigan Prison Creative Arts Program in John's name.
