We bid farewell to Lynn Gest of White Pigeon, Michigan, born in Burr Oak, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gest and Blendena Gest (Cummings); his son Michael Gest; his son-in-law John MacPherson; and his sisters, Roberta Miller, Jacqualyn Bower, Jocelyn Baldwin, Shirley Arnesdorf, Donivee Gest, Sandra Coker and Sally Coker.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Weiderman; his children, Julie MacPherson of Sturgis and Dan Gest (Susan) of White Pigeon; his daughter-in-law Linda Gest of Bristol, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kristopher Gest of Goshen, Triena Gest (Sena) of Germany, Andrew Gest (Haley) of Bear Lake and Jennifer Arnett (Travis) of Battle Creek; his great grandchildren, Anlyssa Strange (Danny), Austin Gest (Ally), Brock Gest, Lucas Gest, Elizabeth Gest, Hannah Gest and Josie Arnett; and his brother-in-law Harold Arensdorf of Tryon. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (406 S Lakeview St, Sturgis, MI 49091).
