He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Dale and Vesta Kemp (Bates); and his wife Jane Louise Koehler. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Wood (Turner) of Chattanooga, Max D. Kemp of White Pigeon and Brian R. Kemp of White Pigeon; his grandchildren, Charlie Wood (Stephanie) of Chattanooga, Bailey Wood (Justice Roshala) of San Diego and Tyson Kemp (SarahJane) of Grand Rapids; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Phoebe Kemp; and his sisters, Sharron Grinwis of Kalamazoo and Carolyn Smith (Edwin) of Franklin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
