He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Byler and Martha Byler (Detweiler); his son Brian Byler; and his half-siblings, Roy, Floyd, Rev. Frank, Dr. Arthur, Dr. Robert Byler, Ruth Yoder and Mary Classen.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Byler; his children, Steve Byler (Priscilla), Eric Byler (Cheryl) and Rhonda Byler; his daughter-in-law Brenda Byler; his grandchildren, Casey (Elizabeth), Rocky, Delaney, Lacee, Emily, Lydia, Rachel, Elaina, Luke, Isaiah, Matthew, Caleb and Landon; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Tytis, Brycesynn, Myles and Emma; and his brother Elmore Byler (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
