He is survived by: his children, Heather and John; his grandchildren, Will, Gabe and Julia; his sister Linda Pierson (John); his aunt Lina Winkel (Ken); and his nephews, Jeffery Pierson (Crystal), Matthew Pierson (Stef) and David Pierson (Jessica). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; also many extended family members and dear friends.
