He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wm and Esther Hicks (Greer); his former wife Elizabeth M. Norstrom; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" M. Hicks; and his sister Ella Ruth Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Hicks of Muskegon, Bradley Hicks (Tammy) of Muskegon and Susan Herbert (Mike) of Whitehall; and his grandchildren, Michael Hicks, Samantha Carrier (Thomas), Zachary Herbert, Jacob Herbert and Lacey Herbert.
