She was predeceased by: her parents, Duell Collins and Patricia Collins. She is survived by: her husband Brian White; and her children, Christopher White, Shane White and Jimmie Collins.

“I'm so sorry for your loss. Susan was so giving. She was in my EDS support group for years, and always helped other members. She gave her time to educate medical students and administrators about EDS and disability. She is already much missed. She always spoke with love about her family, and how helpful they were.”
