He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith; his children, Robert Hickson (Marisa), Kathleen Thelen (Daniel), Connie Hickson (John Stephenson), Nicole Davis, Kimberly Peterson (Michael), Mark Hickson (Jordan) and Andrew Hickson (Amy); and his grandchildren, Judith (Eliot), Jennifer, Joshua, Bobby, Christina, Joey, Samantha, Tyler and Owen.

Memorials may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters of Monroe.
