Lena M. Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena M. Mitchell of White Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Mitchell; her parents, Rinaldo Felici and Roma Felici (Ruggini); and her siblings, Gino Felice, Ida Bonaventura and Eva Dragonette.

She is survived by: her children, David Mitchell (Cindy) and Lisa Iacobelli (Ron); her grandchildren, Taylor Giltner (Daniel), Gina Iacobelli (Michael Garguilo), Carly Piazza (Brandon) and Analena Laverty (Tomas); and her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Owen, Evelyn, Nolan, Declan, Tomas and Francisco. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to "Michigan State University" in memory of Lena Mitchell allocated to the Katherine Woloson Study Abroad Scholarship Endowed Fund mailed to Michigan State University, 535 Chestnut Road, Room 300, East Lansing, Michigan 48842.
