She is survived by: her sons, Harold Rutila III, David Rutila, Bruce Rutila (Kim) and Jonathan Rutila (Susanne); her grandchildren, Harold IV, Stephanie, Nathan, Philip (Jill), Jacob, Rebecca, Bryce, Abigail and Hanna; her great grandchild Ava; her siblings, David McKernan (Sylvia), Michael McKernan (Ann), Ruth Strand (Jim), John McKernan (Jo Ann), Howard McKernan (late Nancy), Mary Kerwin (Jack), Tom McKernan, Greg McKernan (Kim), Lori Thybault (Don) and Becky Wanserski (Mike); and her sister-in-law Louise Koster (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
