John Cotaling Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Cotaling of White Lake, Michigan, born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lisette Cotaling; his children, James Cotaling and Christine Cook (Randy); his grandson Brian Robinson; and his former wife Catherine Marie Cotaling.

He is survived by: his children, John Cotaling (Rosemary), Roberta Featherstone (Fred), Lori Vallance (Don), Jeff Cotaling (Jennifer) and Jody Robinson; his stepchildren, Nicolas Grutter (Pam), Corrine Farnen (Steve) and Barbara Grutter (Steve); his grandchildren, Andy Featherstone (Tiffany), Kate Watkins (Paul), Jack Cotaling, Keith Cotaling, Marissa Cook, Rebecca Cook, Kevin Vallance (Rochelle), Sarah Cotaling, Ethan Cotaling, David Robinson, Timmy Robinson, Sam Farnen, Adriana Farnen, Shaun Grutter, Alex Grutter, Mason Featherstone, Brynlee Vallance, Hunter Smolek and Parker Robinson; and his close friend Sally Wallace. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
