We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 86, James William Timmerman (White Lake, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home (1233 Union Lake Rd, White Lake Charter Township, MI 48386). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Pine Lake Cemetery.
He was the former President of two other associations as well, Michigan and Border Cities Golf Course Superintendents Association and Michigan Turfgrass Foundation.
