She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carter and Dorothy Carter; her grandmothers, J. O. and Dora Carter; her boyfriend Fred Carns; her nephew Jesse Richardson; and her son-in-law John Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angel Sparks, Cindy Wallace, Rebekah Smith and Jennifer James; her sons-in-law, Bill Sparks and Dennis Wallace; her grandchildren, Brie Woodward, Anthony West, Robert West, Nathan Sparks, Breanna Guse, Jonathan Guse, Drake Smith, Landon Smith and Brooklynn Smith; her sons-in-law, Felicity West (Isabella West), Kaiden West, Aidan Sparks, Nolan Sparks (Charlotte Sparks) and Timothy Guse (Sophia Guse); her brother Jack; her sister-in-law Brenda Carter; her sisters, Nettie Carns and DeEtta; her brother-in-law Louis Richardson; and her pet Oreo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
