He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapman and Geneieve Chapman; and his brothers, Robert and Melbourne Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Colleen Johnson (Tom), David Chapman (Amanda) and Lisa Fleetwood (Paul); his grandchildren, Aguistin Gregory Chapman, Olivia Karen Fleetwood, Melbourne Timothy Chapman and Logan David Fleetwood; and his brothers, Patrick and Gary Chapman.

Memorial contributions suggested to the Charach Cancer Treatment Center at Huron Valley Hospital in Commerce Township, Michigan.
