He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Arthur Polan. He is survived by: his wife Monique "Nicki" Polan; his sons, Thomas Carl Polan and Carter Andrew Polan; his mother Renate Polan (Staprans); his siblings, Yvette Blake (David) and Keith Polan (Anjali); and his in-laws, Horst and Hertha Carl.
