He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his daughter Janine Courtney; and his granddaughter Jennifer. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Shears (Julie) and Stacey McCallum (Greg); his grandchildren, Derek, Matt (Mandy), Samantha (Brandon), Kaitlyn (Daryl), Madeline and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Skyler, Sloan, Lily, Lauren, Audrey, Noah and Elliott.
