He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his children, Sheila Clayton, Timothy Clayton (Jill), Robert Snapp (Marianne), Dawn Skrumbellos (Jason), Randy Clayton (Sandra), Gregory Vinyard (Amy) and Laura Vines (Michael); and his sisters, Judith Wright (Jim), Denise Adams (Eddie), Pamela Clayton and Bettye Lafnear (Butch).
Due to pandemic restrictions funeral services will be held privately.
