It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abelardo Frias (White Lake, Michigan), who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Teresa Prokopp (Gregory); his granddaughters, Christine Elliott (Matthew) and Lauren Hengesbaugh (Adam); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Leah Elliott and Sydney Hengesbaugh; his son Eduardo (Mona); and his sisters, Petra Salas of Pontiac, MI and Angelina Fredericksen of Denmark. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and dozens of God children.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
