He was predeceased by: his parents, William Quinlan and Gertrude Quinlan (Koster); and his sisters, Christine Childers and Cynthia Bodell. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brothers, Dr. Dan Quinlan (Kathy) and Timothy Quinlan (Glenda) of Stanwood, MI; his sons, Richard Bruce Quinlan Jr. (Angela) of Coopersville, MI and Shawn Quinlan of Chicago, IL; his stepson Joe Balberde of Petoskey, MI; his grandchildren, Clarissa Quinlan, Taylor Balberde, Megan Balberde and Patrick Balberde; his nephew Todd Quinlan (Maria); and his pet Harley David.
