She was predeceased by: her parents, John Westphal and Gertrude Westphal (DuBois); her husband Edward Grasiewicz; her children, Darwin Miller and Mary Gray; her grandson Matthew Clifford; and her niece Beth Alberda Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Paula Sargent, Leslie, John Hage and Dawn Sargent; her sister Jeanette Alberda Ruse; her caregiver Maria; and also Meta Head. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
