He was predeceased by: his father Edward Lewis Shepard; and his siblings, Lorna Kaufman and Emery Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Shepard; his children, James, Jennifer and Janessa Shepard; his mother Gloria Woodcock (Elvin); his siblings, Terry Shepard, Evelyn Miller and Lorraine Crawford; his in-laws, Jim and Sue Goyings; and his brother-in-law Jeff Goyings (Megan).
