Sanders of Wheeler, Michigan, born in Breckenridge, Michigan, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Gates and Clara Gates (Mountain); her husband Robert Sanders; her siblings, Ronald Gates, Mary Jane Painter and Shirley Donley; her son-in-law Victor Young; and her pet Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Mervyn Sanders of Breckenridge, Clifford Sanders (Joann) of St. Louis, Roberta Marshall (Jim) of Midland, Loretta Sanders of Midland and Marsha Young of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Stefanie Shook (Trevor), Eric Marshall (Kristen), James Sanders (Karman), Andrew Sanders (Samantha) and Danielle Holland; her great grandchildren, McKayla, Kaytlin, James Robert, Jr., Elizabeth, Lillian, Ethan, Calyn, Lexi, Izzy and Erin; and her sister Carol Butcher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
