Elizabeth Shankel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2020, at the age of 71, Elizabeth Shankel of Wheeler, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Mako and Patricia Mako (McLaughlin); and her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Ketz. She is survived by: her husband Greg Shankel; her sons, Marc Shankel (Katie) and Scott Shankel (Chris); and her siblings, Connie Allen, Sally Hooks (Larry) and Vincent Mako (Deb). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Breckenridge United Methodist Church or the Breckenridge/Wheeler Food Pantry.
