Mary Kathryn Deitrich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Kathryn Deitrich of Wetmore, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Best and Frances Best (Hoffman); her husband Frank Deitrich; her son-in-law John DeMarr; her siblings, Dorothy Parson (John), Mary Lou Kenney (Bob), Dan Best (Kathy) and Billy Best; and her brother-in-law Bob Webster.
She is survived by: her children, Kaye DeMarr of Wetmore, MI, Gary Deitrich (Patricia) of Marshall, VA, Donald Deitrich (Anne Marie) of Shingleton, MI and Alan Deitrich (Amy) of Farmville, VA; her grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua (Theresa), Gretchen, Liam, Donny (Chrissy), Erik, Bryce, Brennan, Austin, William and Kate; her great grandchildren, Max, Wesley, Vincent, Luke and Lucy; and her siblings, Betty Webster and Joseph Best. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathryn later worked at the Airlie Foundation as a late-night switchboard operator.
