She is survived by: her parent Marjorie Simmon (Smith); her husband James Platte; her sister Rhonda Devereaux; her niece Sarah Scott; her children, Halie Platte, Hayden and Reece Platte; her father Stephen Simmon (Janet); her siblings, Jeffrey Simmon (Donna), Kevin Simmon, Jennifer Scott (Matt), Kimberly O'Hare (Dennis), Steve Simmon (Jamie), Carol Platte and Genny Platte; her friends, Small Cat, Sophia and Bentley; and also, Cindy Schmitz (Dean), Jane Theis (Joe), Sandy Schmitz and Bruce Platte (Kelly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
