He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his children, Maureen Schafer (Gary), Brian Thelen (Kristi), Yvonne Trierweiler (Tom) and Loren Thelen (Shannon); his siblings, Gen Martin, Mary Ann Cook (Bruno) and Larry Thelen (Jeannette); and his fathers-in-law, Jerry Smith (Sandy) and Fred Smith (Elaine). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
