He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thelen and Marian Thelen (Smith); his parents-in-law, Norman and Martha Pung (Simon); his brothers, Reynold and Leon; and his parents-in-law, Leon Ambrustmacher, Jean Kennicott, Clare Pung, Mark Pung (Daria) and Jerome Pung.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Cheryl Miller (Kyle), Daniel (Bev), Julie Spitzley (Allen), Michael (Amy), Craig (Michelle) and Laura Pohl (Garrick); his siblings, William (Joan), Marie Ambrustmacher, Jeannette Pung (Joe), Ervin (Mary Jane), Gary (Linda) and Kathleen Eklund (John); and his parents-in-law, Ann Thelen, Teresa Pung, Katie Good and Paul Pung (Genie). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
It is also requested that social distancing guidelines are followed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Westphalia Fire Department or a charity of one's choice in memory of Hubbie.
