It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Revella Martha Smith of Westphalia, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hanses and Laurina Hanses (Wirth); her husband Simon "Simmy"; her siblings, Kathleen Barker (Robert), Liz Spitzley, Reynold Hanses (Rose) and David Hanses; her granddaughter Carli Smith; her great grandchild Samantha Smith; and her brother-in-law Reece Hattis.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Smith (Marie), Sharon Miller (Ken), Donna Devereaux (Bruce), Jude Kramer (Fred) and Amy Miller (John); her sister Dorothy Hattis; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Spitzley (Dolores) and Kate Hanses. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
