Paul Downes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Downes of Westphalia, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Downes; his stepfather Larry Davis; his father-in-law Raymond Porkka; his brother Michael Downes; his niece Margaret Yanoschik; and his nephew Forrest Porkka.

He is survived by: his mother Loretta Downes (Hogan); his wife Karen Downes; his children, Sarah Mikkelson (Nathan), Joel Downes, Daniel Downes (Grace), Joan Downes, Seth Downes, John Downes, Catherine Downes, Patrick Downes, Michael Downes, Alexander Downes, Miriam Downes and Lauren Downes; and his siblings, Joseph Downes, Thomas Downes (Susan), Julie Streeter (Darrell), David Downes (Julieanne), Anne-Marie Yanoschik (Matthew) and Amy Downes. He is also survived by five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
