She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Halfmann and Florence Halfmann (Smith); her husband James Smith; and her parents-in-law, Leo, Antoinette Smith (Fedewa), Rita Halfmann, Donald George, Carl, Rose Smith, Alvin, Loretta Thelen, Ernie, Joanne Thelen, Delbert, Rosaline Smith, Marvin Schafer, Francis, Viola Fedewa, Gerald, Lucille Fedewa and Jerome Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Deb), David (Tina), Ann Marie Schneider (Pat), Gary (Julie), Sandy Koenigsknecht (Tom), Marsha Smith (Kevin), Linda Martin (Rick), Brenda Gardner (Todd) and Sara Feldpausch (Paul); her siblings, Elvan Halfmann, Doris George, Eileen Murphy (Jim) and Janet Thelen (Clare); and her mothers-in-law, Mary Schafer and Carlene Smith. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
