She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Platte and Adeline Platte (Bohr); her husband Bobby (Bobby); her son Joe; her grandson Noah Thelen; her great grandchild Lucas Spitzley; her siblings, Paul Platte, Arlene Koster, Mary Ellen Pohl and Robert Platte; her parents-in-law, Hilda Bengel and Joseph; and her siblings-in-law, Joan, Edgar Thelen, Jeannette Pohl, Arnold Pohl, Donald Weber, Adeline and Vern Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt Bengel (Brenda), Gail Spitzley (Eugene), Debbie Prince (Mike) and Angie Thelen (Tony); her great grandchild Elvan Pohl; her siblings-in-law, Beverly Platte, Diane (Bill Thelen), Mary Ann Thelen, Rosie, Jerome Smith, Rich, Alice Bengel, Aggie and Charlie George; and also Kelly Bengel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
