He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thelen and Alma Thelen (Kloeckner); his wife Jeanene (Becker); his daughter Sheryl Topliff; his brother Dan Thelen; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Pline, Don Thelen and Virginia Thoma.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Wood (Mike), Randy (Cheryl), Terry and Tim (Conni); his son-in-law Don Topliff; his sister Aggie Pline; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Thelen, Georgene Thelen, Jim Becker (Alice), Bill Thoma and Gerard Becker (Lori). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
